How long does a vehicle wrap last?

In Denver’s variable climate, a professionally installed wrap typically lasts 5 to 7 years. Colorado’s high UV exposure can affect longevity, but with proper care, your wrap will look great for years. Fleet and food truck wraps usually fall on the lower end due to high usage and exposure to the elements. Garaging your vehicle will greatly increase the longevity of your wrap.

Will wrapping my vehicle damage my paint?

As long as the paint is factory and in good condition, a vinyl wrap can actually protect your paint! At the same time, if the paint has existing issues or a wrap is installed poorly, it can lead to damage. When professionally installed with high-quality vinyl and properly removed, wraps will leave the paint underneath intact!

How long is the process?

If all goes smoothly and communication is quick, we can sometimes complete everything in 5–7 business days. The majority of the time is spent on design. This depends heavily on how much direction and input you’re looking to contribute, your response time, and overall complexity of the project. Having said that, we can often have design proofs built out within a couple days. Once design is approved, we move on to production. This includes printing, laminating, cutting, & plotting (if needed) your vinyl before installation. Installation varies from one vehicle to the next as surface area, contour lines, & complexity of installation vary with every project.

Can you wrap over rust, dents, or chipped paint?

Wraps need a smooth, clean surface to adhere properly. We don’t recommend wrapping over rust, flaking paint, or deep dents, as it may cause bubbling or peeling. Minor imperfections can be wrapped over, but we’ll always inspect the vehicle prior to installation and make suggestions based on what we determine.

Can I take my wrapped vehicle through a car wash?

We always recommend hand-washing wrapped vehicles with a mild soap and a micro-fiber cloth for best results. If you want to go to a car wash, always choose a touchless option. Always avoid pressure washers and harsh chemicals near the edges. Colorado road grime is tough, but your wrap will thank you for the gentle care.

Vehicle wrap costs varies depending on a number of things. The biggest factor is how much of the vehicle is being wrapped. Other factors include materials used or the amount of cleaning or prior wrap removal necessary.
